There is an end to the dance (movement) of
the deer and the peacocks
Lo! There is no end to the movement of the
mind!
Alavillā Āttaththāl Akhilaththil Aleikindren
Arumpādu Pattum Ulle Ameithi Illei
With this unending play of mind, I am
tossed hither and thither
However much I labour, there is no peace
for me.
Amaithiyillā Vāzhvu Adiyenukketharkkāga
Azhiththuvidu Enthan Ānavaththei
Why this desolate life bereft of peace?
I beseech You O Lord, please put an end to
this ego.

when this ego is obliterated, can I realize You, Lord!

seek Your refuge in Thee O
